Our Mission
Our Mission is to empower our BIPOC children and youth by helping them build their self worth through learning uplifting historical cultural knowledge.
We believe being exposed to positive, uplifting, cultural knowledge from a young age will have a positive impact in the direction of our youth.
"You only know where you're going, until you know where you came from" rings true with us as it's the core belief of our organization's mandate.
We believe through knowing their fruitful past, providing care and supporting them throughout each stage of their development our youth will achieve great feats.

With a passionate team of licensed RECE's, teachers and staff, every course comes with full support through phone, email or video sessions.
We offer a three tiered system of providing exciting, fun, educational, cultural-based programs, online homework support and much more.

Founder and CEO
Tasha Flemmings
Tasha is an RECE and has over 15 years experience working with Children and Families. She had developed and conceptualized the idea for the Building Black Youth Foundation in October 2020 and is now bringing it to life. Her passion for teaching and caring for children and supporting families has led to beginning her ultimate goal and dream of bringing uplifting cultural-based learning opportunities for Children and Youth across Toronto.
